I didn’t own a console at all during the n64 days..� That was a�great time for PC gaming when warcraft 2 and command and conquer were around, and later starcraft and counterstrike.� PC gaming was all I needed at the time I guess. �I lived in a house with 3 friends and we had all our computers networked in the same room..� To be honest I almost didn’t notice the N64, I do remember playing goldeneye at a friend’s once.��Looking back,�I still feel like�PC games were�much stronger than consoles at the time.� I eventually did get a PS1, but it was really late, after the PS2 was out and it almost felt like a retro system already.

I have N64 still. It was a great system but it had one flaw that I had to live with especially with a toddler in the house. When you bump the system for whatever reason, the games would freeze and you’d loose all gameplay or progress unless you saved. It was major flaw especially since it was a cartridged based system.

Great show as usual guys. The N64 is actually what got me into importing with Star Fox 64. Later on I got to enjoy a lot of other titles due to a…. um, backup device that I owned. (I don’t condone piracy kids, just play backups of games you own!) One really cool thing at the time was getting into the N64 demo scene. There were some fun demos and emulators to try at the time, mostly by Dextrose as I recall. My N64 collection is pretty small as I only have mostly the good 1st party titles, but I still love to go back and play Wave Race. Vinnk, if you ever feel like helping a poor US soul out with importing some Famicom carts, shoot me a message.

The Christmas that the N64 came out, my younger cousin got one and his dad got me a 32x. �So, to me, the “N64 Christmas” was the “32x Christmas” instead.

I got an N64 for Christmas quite a few years later from a good friend who was liquidating his game collection. �I got one game with it (Mario 64) and ended up giving that to my brother on the same day.

My N64 game collection currently consists of a single game: Mischief Makers.
