Muppets Teaser Trailer – “Green With Envy”

Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller’s follow up to the awesome Forgetting Sarah Marshall looks like a very run of the mill RomCom until Kermit The Frog shows up.

Muppet movies and TV shows of the past had no trouble breaking the fourth wall, and this looks like no exception. Segel and Stoller might just be what the Muppets need to be relevant to modern times.

What do you think of the trailer? Are The Muppets back or is the Henson legacy in trouble?

This movie needs to be more than “standard X type movie with Muppets”. �It needs to be funny or whatever, and show that to me in the trailer. �This movie does no such thing. �Is it trying to be the next “Meet the Spartans” or whatever their last one was? �That’s all I get from this.

It might not suck, but this trailer give me no indication of this.

I’d be looking forward to any more Segel and�Stoller�put out at this point, the fact that this has Muppets is incidental.
