X-Men: First Class Trailer

Fox has posted the first official trailer for X-Men: First Class, which comes out later this year on June 3rd.

As with other movie series where the previous film was a dismal affair, I’m hesitant about X-Men First class. The timeline might not even make sense for the universe fox has already built, but taken on its own merits the trailer for this film is pretty exciting. The actors seem well cast, and the hints of story aren’t something I expected. I’m not familiar with the First Class book so I don’t know if The Cuban Missile Crisis with mutants is something directly from that, but after I’ve recently been watching/reading stuff about Kennedy, its got my interest on the subject alone.

Matthew Vaughn: Don’t let me down.

Trust me, it’s not that at all. The actual first class book deals with early adventures of the original 5 x-men. With that said, this movie has about as much to do with that book as Uwe Boll’s House of the Dead has to do with the video game.

Movie still looks intriguing though.
