Funny review. I look forward to seeing more, especially the one for G.I.Joe.

I said this in the Powetcast and I’ll say it again. Do yourself a favor and rent or buy Hulk Vs. The Hulk vs. Wolverine story is EXACTLY what this movie should have been. A stand-alone story that involved Wolverine and the Weapon X project, but had no connection to his later life with the X-Men except for some familiar villains from his past.

That was a damn fine review. See if you can wait three days before letting Brad bump it down with a giant image of the poster for “Battle of the Smithsonian.”

I know you guys aren’t big comic fans, but if you’re going to say something, at least do some research. People will be more likely to listen to what you have to say if your facts are straight.
Bone claws have been canon since the 90s, well before Origin.
Mostly agreed with the rest of the review, though.

Trek>XMO
Completely agree about the retcons, particularly the lame bone claws–hated this in the comics, hated it just as much in the movie–I also hated the whole “need” to tell the origin of him as a little kid and I blame the comics for that crap as well. Stupid. Just stick with the Windsor-Smith Weapon X and leave the rest to mystery.

Samodean: Bone Claws have been around since the crossover called ‘Fatal Attractions’ when Magneto ripped the adamantium out of Wolverine. The story was that the healing factor compensated for the adamantium by growing the claws underneath the metal. But at this time he still never had the claws before the weapon X project.
This was always significant because when he was fitted with an inhibitor collar, he could always still use the claws because they weren’t a mutant power. Origins changed that.
If I’m wrong, feel free to correct me, but please be specific so I can set myself straight.

Yeah, we were going off what Brad said. I have no idea how accurate it is.
And its not because I’m not a comics fan — I am, I’m just more of a DC guy. :p

It’s entirely possible I’m not 100% correct.
I was kind of out of comics during the 90s. I just knew they were introduced then, not the full explanation.
If I were motivated enough, I’d look it up. =p
