I see no reason why this should be, and with keanu. The original is a classic that does not deserve to be tarnished in any way.

Poor Keanu. I still stick with the opinion that his greatest movies are the Bill and Ted flicks and Constantine.

I’d add The Devil’s Advocate and perhaps The Lake House to his list of greatest movies.

But I agree with you guys that there’s no way this will do well. Might be a decent film, but it’s not going to draw people in. Especially during Christmas season. Who thought that would be a good time for release?

God, I just had a long drawn out conversation about this situation. I was soooo excited when I saw the first preview and all I saw was the alien toward the end of the commercial. Then I saw another with Keanu in it and I was immediatly disapointed.

I loved the original and will not be seeing this stinker so’s I don’t replace good memories of the former with bad, bad, bad ones.
