KITT from new Knight Rider series revealed

TVSquad was on hand for the unveiling of new KITT car from the upcoming Knight Rider series airing on February 17 on NBC. The series will focus on the estranged son of Michael Knight (the main character from the original series played by the ‘Hoff.)

KITT is a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR. Three cars were shown; a remote operated car, a street car and a stunt car.

A Mustang? Wrong pony, boys…too bad they don’t make Trans Ams anymore. Just the same, as long as it has the swishing light up-front, I guess it really doesn’t matter. Too bad they couldn’t (or just didn’t) get William Daniels to play KITT again, but oh well.

I’m definitely watching the pilot for this.
