She looked the best in the final scene of MP2:E when she crawled over to Samus and reached out to the light coming from the chest of the Light Suit. The visible skull inside the Phazon body was awesome!

I’m somewhat troubled (having not read Chozo’s spoilery comment) that Fusion also features a doppleganger. I’d almost say it’s more likely people will be more familiar with Prime 2, but (not knowing software sales figures) GBA has the more promising installbase…

front – Samus in the Varia suit, the default look for Samus Aran since the box art for Metroid II on Gameboy
to her back – Corrupted Samus, infected by Phazon from Tallon IV in the first Prime game.
face in the corner – Metroid Prime in the form of Dark Samus

there, thats who is who.

and as for who is familiar with what based on sales figures… who care? Fusion took place WAY WAY after all this, and the Prime series still predates Super Metroid in continuity so far as I know. Samus will have as many alien clones as it takes.
