MP-05 Masterpiece Megatron First Look

TFW2005 (via AcToys) has posted an image of an unpainted prototype of a G1 styled Megatron. I have attached the picture below. I don’t think much more needs to be said so look below and see for yourself.

Looks decent, but I don’t know if I want to drop $100 or so on him. And I can’t fault BBTS for their stance. It’s not just customs they have to worry about, it’s liability. Joel didn’t spend years building BBTS into the dominant online toy store only to gamble on pissing it away…

I got this and sold it.

Very disappointed. Of all the masterpieces (although i haven’t tried starscream – although i do have a skywarp on the way) its the worst one. It looks great in gun mode but if only i could GET there.

This is near impossile to transform imo. and many pieces are on ‘hinges’ that fall off easily (it doens’t break. it just comes off).

The legs look so thin too. really weird. but upperbody looks great.

Could be a better toy imo, maybe if he turned into a tank instead.

Not worth it for 150-200 price range imo
