StarCraft:Broodwar total 3D conversion

An ambitious mod of WarCraft III is being undertaken by Snowflake Entertainment to bring Starcraft a little more up to date.
Blizzplanet has a Q&A with the “Project Revolution” team.
The project is about 50% complete and they promise all the speed and fun of Blizzard’s neglected franchise. They’ve even got a mac programmer on staff to ensure it will work on OSX. (yes!) All you’ll need is to own the StarCraft and Broodwar discs, as this prevents violations of any intellectual property laws.
This should be some good news to fans since (though still unofficial) StarCraft: Ghost has been cancelled.

That’d be fantastic. Ghost was never going to satisfy anyone anyway. It was like Hey You, Pikachu. Cute tie-in thingy, whatever. But not even close to what we were looking for.

At least someone isn’t ignoring the greatest RTS franchise ever! I used to be so addicted to this game. I hope by that screen capture that it means you can select more than characters at once than in the original, like you can in WC3. That would be phenomonal for swarming with Zerg forces or Protoss Carriers.

If that means better graphics, I’m in. I loved the game, and just started playing again… About what ‘Crazy’ said: “I hope by that screen capture that it means you can select more than characters at once than in the original. That would be phenomonal for swarming with Zerg forces.” It would indeed: I’m a good Zerg player and I always run out of hotkeys when I attack…
