Too bad he wasn’t able to come off as genuine and knowledgable to the general public 6 years ago. If he had, more people would have voted for him and we wouldn’t have been stuck with Bush as president for the past 6 years.

So, I looked at the web page to find out when opening weekend is. Elusive information. I finally found it in the “Find a Theater” section: and oh, by the way, it opens on different days all over the nation.

A campaign centered around opening weekend when the movie will have no less than six opening weekends, and the first one is only in two cities. Ostentatiously stupid.

I was pretty interested in seeing this movie when it hit the theaters, but it will only be shown in one theater in all of Louisiana (that theater is 3 1/2 hours away from me), and its opening weekend is on June 23. I’m not sure who I should be more upset with, the creators for not having a wider release for the film, or my state for not having a bigger interest about this issue.

Honestly, I’m pretty darned amazed this is even making it to theaters. Movies that take on big interests like this tend to be buried quickly and if anyone other than Al Gore had been behind it, it might have been.
