Iron Man movie release date announced

Marvel’s Iron Man will be making his cinematic debut May 2nd, 2008. We mentioned a while back that Jon Favreau will be directing. From the press releases, it sounds they’ll be changing his origin a bit from the original. It sounds like the direction they’re going sets up a pretty good replacement origin, though. Judgement will be made in May of 2008!

Do they mention what the change to the origin story is? I mean it could anything from “he made it in a war camp just not during WW2” to “He found the suit in an alien spaceship”.
