I decided to continue this little format experiment. Here are some highlights from the world of action figures during the month of November 2011.

The long anticipated fan made Sailor Moon movie has finally been released! You can watch the film online right now.

A great deal of effort has obviously gone into this fan film which features high quality costumes and effects and original music. The entire cast and crew did a great job putting this film together. Check it out and spread the word to other Sailor Moon fans.

The Amazing Spider-Man is scheduled to be released July 3, 2012, staring Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man and Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard.

This week’s latest episode of Terra Nova parodied classic Star Trek Bones/Kirk banter with the line “Jim, I’m a doctor, not a chemist”.

How much did they force the plot to make this work? I suppose it was inevitable, with the main character’s name being Jim and his wife being a Doctor, but even that may have been intentional from the start.

So you’re wondering why I didn’t throw this up for Black Friday. Well number one, you obviously want the weekend free to spend time with your loved ones right? Two, these aren’t black Friday sales. You can get these games for $20 or less regardless of what time of the year you buy them, so there is no need to get up early, stand in line at 2am, fight through the crowd, or use pepper spray on anyone. You save on these games 24/7/365, so these are Green Everyday sales. Of course Green Everyday sounds stupid, so we’ll just call it the $20 Game of the Week like we’ve been doing.
