A couple of weeks ago the BBC reported (with accompanying video) that 10th Doctor David Tennant will be stepping down from the role after a final stint of four specials next year, beginning with this year’s Christmas special. That’s right boys and girls: the man who rode the Doctor Who Explosion of 2007 to become one of the most popular incarnations of the Time Lord is hanging up his sonic screwdriver after just four years.
